I work across research and development — studying how people, markets and systems behave, then turning what we learn into tools, systems, experiences and prototypes.

My background crosses research, operations, product and technical development, mostly within small teams and alongside founders. Since 2020, much of that work has been fractional.

In 2026, I led R&D work for a Barcelona-based experience design company, spanning audience and market research, behavioral research, trend analysis and AI-assisted research systems.

Deriva is my independent R&D practice for music and sound.

Some questions end in understanding. Others need something to be built and tested. The work can involve research, data, interviews, experiments, systems design, code or prototyping — whatever is appropriate to the problem.

Music
I’ve been a musician for most of my life. Deriva brings that practice together with the research and technical work I’ve developed elsewhere.
